ADVOCACY

The ALS Association Central and Southern Ohio Chapter

We’ve been active ALS advocates since 2005. Each year we meet with members of Congress during our National ALS Advocacy Day & Public Policy Conference in Washington DC. It has been rewarding to know we helped play a small part in the ALS Registry Act becoming law in 2008 and most recently the Steve Gleason Act signed into law by the President on July 30, 2015. However, we need ongoing help from Congress.

Please sign-up to be an ALS Advocate and you’ll receive important updates and action alerts on the latest ALS advocacy issues. It takes less than 5 minutes to learn the issues and send a letter to Congress. You can help change the laws and policies that affect thousands of persons with ALS and their families. Please advocate with us.
